Getting Started

Dairy Australia is involved in several initiatives aimed at supporting new entrants to begin manufacturing dairy products for both domestic and export markets.

Although the rewards can be great, manufacturing dairy is one of the most complex types of food manufacturing businesses to establish. Dairy manufacturing is tightly regulated to protect public health domestically and special requirements exist for those wishing to export their goods.
