Commentary
- Wheat: Down $20 ($375 to $385/tonne). Barley: Down $5 ($375 to $385/tonne). Maize: Down $20 ($410 to $420/tonne). Sorghum: Down $5 ($325 to $335/tonne).
- Wet conditions continue to push back sowing in southern QLD and western downs, while central QLD remains mostly dry.
- Old crop wheat decreased over the last week, whilst new crop remained steady.
- Old crop barley has generally softened over the week, while new crop remains firmly priced.
- Sorghum markets steady following the weekend with harvest resuming across western Downs. SOR2 volumes are expected to increase going forward.
