Nutrition and Seasonal Information Session - Circular Head

As we approach calving season with feed conditions tight on many farms it is important that we make informed nutritional and animal health decisions. To help you make these practical decisions on farm DairyTas will be hosting an informative session featuring Pip Gale and Craig Dwyer.

Pip is a well known nutritionist, will discuss strategies for:

• Transitioning cows from dry to milking when pasture and fodder reserves are low
• Optimal nutrition during the dry and early lactation to help prevent animal health issues
• Feed options that are practical and available to you

Additionally, we'll have vet, Craig Dwyer on hand to share advice on managing down cows and implementing best practices for their swift recovery.

This session will target the practical side of managing this time of year to ensure you set your season up well.
