Dairy Australia's Stakeholder Consultation Plan outlines our commitment to consult with all key stakeholders to advance the interests and sustainability of the Australian dairy industry and maximise the value of the dairy levy. Dairy Australia is committed to having open, accountable and responsive decision-making, informed by effective communication and consultation between Dairy Australia, dairy farmers, the Australian Government and industry stakeholders.
Our engagement with industry stakeholders around these investments is informed by the Best Practice Guide to Stakeholder Consultation guide provided by the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment.
Dairy Australia’s Strategic Plan is for the five-year planning period 2020–2025. This plan aligns with the industry strategy being created under the Australian Dairy Plan.
Dairy Australia’s Annual Operating Plan for the financial year shows that Dairy Australia is responding to a challenging environment for the dairy industry. The AOP is the result of extensive consultation and feedback from farmers, government and representative bodies.
